Being creative is my space to find my “inner child”…. oblivious of time, innocently exploring an imaginary world hoping that what I have to say is meaningful and beautiful.

As an emerging Artist I often draw inspiration from three key observations carved out of my life’s journey;

  • The importance of working for and being connected to community. A lesson learnt from being raised outside of Rabaul, East New Britain, Papua New Guinea until the age of 15 to missionary parents and having undergone initiation into the “Tolai” (main tribal group) community.

  • Respecting and celebrating our environment and cultural diversity.

    Four and a half years travelling Australia and the world (working predominately in responsible low impact tourism in Asia and as a wildlife ranger in Africa) experiencing how beautiful and diverse our planet is but importantly how enormously beneficial this is to humanity.

  • The significant challenge in overcoming greed and self interest.

    Thirty years as a change agent and innovator in the field of sustainability within Australia through my background in Architecture and Environmental Science.
